The main components of diesel anti-wear agents include organic protective agents, antioxidants, flame retardants and detergents. These components can work stably under high temperature and high pressure engine working environment, and react chemically with the metal surface to form a coating, effectively preventing direct contact between metal parts and reducing wear and corrosion. In addition, there are various types of diesel anti-wear agents, including fatty acid type and fatty acid ester type. Fatty acid type diesel anti-wear agents are mainly some long-chain unsaturated fatty acid compounds, while fatty acid ester type anti-wear agents have the characteristics of low acid value, low freezing point and good anti-wear performance. In particular, unsaturated fatty acid monoesters have excellent anti-wear performance and are an environmentally friendly additive. Other types of diesel anti-wear agents include alcohols and ethers, fatty amines and amides, and fatty acid esters. Alcohol and ether compounds have high polarity in their molecules, and adding them to low-sulfur diesel can significantly improve their lubricity. Fatty amine and amide anti-wear agents can effectively improve the lubricity of diesel, but these substances are nitrogen-containing compounds, and when the concentration is too high, they will increase the emission of exhaust pollutants. Fatty amines and amide compounds are mostly synthesized from fatty acids and polyamine compounds. They have a high acid value and are corrosive to diesel engines. They react with alkaline substances in lubricating oils to easily produce insoluble particles, increasing cylinder wear.
