MAIN USES:

Dimeric acid, an important oil chemical, has been widely used in many fields. The following are its main uses:

1. Synthesis of high-grade polyamide resin: dimeric acid can be used as a raw material for the production of high-grade polyamide resin. These resins have excellent flexibility, sealing, water resistance and adhesion characteristics, so they are widely used in coatings, inks and other fields.

2. The manufacture of hot melt adhesive: dimeric acid is also one of the important components of the manufacture of hot melt adhesive. Hot melt adhesive is widely used in packaging, printing and other industries because of its strong viscosity, non-toxic, tasteless and environmental protection characteristics.

3. Epoxy resin curing agent: dimeric acid can also be used as curing agent of epoxy resin, helping to improve the performance and stability of epoxy resin.

4. Oilfield corrosion inhibitor: due to its special chemical properties, dimeric acid is also used as oilfield corrosion inhibitor to prevent metal equipment from being corroded.
